About Contemporary Therapy Solutions

Supporting People with Disabilities to Thrive Across Regional South Australia

Contemporary Therapy Solutions is a South Australian owned and operated therapy service committed to improving access to high-quality disability supports across the Yorke Peninsula, Clare Valley, and surrounding regional communities.

We believe that where a person lives should never determine the quality of support they receive. Every individual deserves access to timely, skilled, and personalised therapy services that help them build independence, develop confidence, strengthen community connections, and pursue a life aligned with their goals and strengths.

Our purpose is simple, to ensure people with disabilities living in regional South Australia have the same opportunities, access, and quality of care as those living in metropolitan areas.

Why We Exist

For many families in regional communities, accessing qualified therapy services can be difficult. Long waitlists, limited provider options, and a lack of specialised support often leave individuals and families feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about the future.

Contemporary Therapy Solutions was established to address these challenges.

Our leadership team has extensive experience working within the NDIS and understands firsthand the barriers that many regional families face when seeking support. We have seen the impact that delayed intervention and limited access to skilled professionals can have on individuals, families, and entire communities.

We are committed to changing that experience by providing responsive, high-quality services that place people at the centre of every decision.

A Person-Centred Approach

No two people are the same, and neither are their support needs.

We take the time to understand each individual's circumstances, strengths, goals, and aspirations before developing a tailored approach to therapy and support. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, we intentionally seek therapists and professionals whose expertise aligns with the specific needs of the people we support.

Our services are guided by best-practice standards, evidence-based approaches, and the principles of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Through collaboration with participants, families, carers, and other professionals, we work to create meaningful outcomes that support long-term independence and wellbeing.

Strengthening Regional Communities

We believe that when individuals are supported to succeed, entire communities become stronger.

Our work extends beyond therapy sessions. We are passionate about creating opportunities for participation, inclusion, and connection throughout regional South Australia. By working alongside local services, schools, healthcare providers, and community organisations, we help build stronger support networks that contribute to positive outcomes for everyone.

Every person deserves to feel valued, heard, respected, and empowered to participate fully in their community.

How is Contemporary Therapy Solutions related to Contemporary Coordination?

Our CEO Rachel Lafain founded Contemporary Coordination in 2020 and C-Therapy Solutions in 2026. Contemporary Coordination is a registered NDIS Support Coordination provider operating across South Australia. Although the companies share similar values, they operate with separate financial, business, and information systems.

Keeping therapy and support coordination separate is a more ethical and transparent approach. It protects your privacy and ensures your Choice and Control is genuine.

The NDIS Code of Conduct requires all real or perceived conflicts of interest to be identified, declared, and actively avoided.

C‑Therapy Solutions was created in response to a severe shortage of therapy services in certain regional areas.

When a Contemporary Coordination participant chooses to access therapy through C‑Therapy Solutions, we:

  • discuss the conflict of interest openly
  • provide alternative options (including telehealth if no local options exist)
  • complete a declaration form signed by the participant or nominee
  • submit the form to the NDIS

Contemporary Coordination participants are not prioritised, and in some cases it may not be appropriate for both providers to be involved.

No. C‑Therapy Solutions does not provide Support Coordination. We’re always happy to help you understand your Capacity Building funding and how our therapy services may fit within your plan.

We are looking to grow our team of allied health professionals! If you are a qualified and registered occupational therapist, speech therapist, or psychologist, we’d love to hear from you. Applications from registered physiotherapists, exercise physiotherapists and podiatrists will also be considered. Due to NDIS requirements and emerging sector expectations, we are not able to accept applications from social workers, counsellors, developmental educators, or similar professions at this time.

We are not currently recruiting admin staff, but future opportunities will be advertised.

We offer flexible working arrangements, including part‑time roles and school‑term‑only schedules.

Therapists receive excellent travel remuneration and above‑award wages.

If overnight travel is required, we provide comfortable accommodation and take individual needs into account. Want to bring your dog? Prefer to stay somewhere near the beach? Let’s chat — we’re open to making work work for you.

Please reach out for a chat with Rachel via email or phone.

Let's work together to achieve meaningful outcomes

Whether you’re seeking therapy services for yourself or a loved one, looking for professional supervision, or need guidance navigating the NDIS, our team is here to help. Reach out today to discuss your goals and discover how we can support your journey.
